Hello, I'm Daniel, a data scientist passionate about deep learning, artificial intelligence, and software development. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of contributing to e-commerce and economics companies by applying advanced data analysis techniques to enhance their business processes.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Statistics from the Federal Fluminense University and am currently pursuing a master's degree in Systems and Computer Engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. My academic and professional journey is marked by a constant pursuit of learning, and I am always eager to expand my knowledge in the fascinating field of data science. While I take pride in my achievements so far, I view each challenge as an opportunity for improvement and professional growth.
When I am not analyzing data, I enjoy spending time creating and playing games.
Work Experience
- Aug, 2019 – Jun, 2022: Data Analyst - E-commerce at americanas s.a.. Worked on a variety of projects that
involved developing and implementing data-driven solutions to support decision making and automate anomaly
detection in time series data. In addition, I designed and developed a predictive model to estimate seller
response times to customer inquiries;
- Mar, 2019 - Aug, 2019: IT Intern - E-commerce at americanas s.a.. During my internship, I have had
the privilege of participating in the development of applications that have been used by millions of users. Always
working collaboratively with experienced professionals to design and build RESTful APIs, implement front-end
features, and conduct rigorous unit and integration testing to ensure quality and reliability;
- Dec, 2018 – May, 2019: Researcher - Economics at Instituto Brasileiro de Economia - FGV. Developed a
custom crawler to extract key product attributes from various websites, which was utilized to calculate inflation
indexes. This involved designing and implementing an automated data extraction pipeline, to efficiently and
accurately gather and analyze large amounts of data, ultimately improving our understanding of key economic
indicators.

- "Estatística é com R!" (Statistics is with R!), a learning and information Portal. Developed a
website that serves as a channel for dissemination and communication between the educational material
development team of the Statistics Department at UFF (Universidade Federal Fluminense) that uses the R program
and the general community. The aim is to promote a communication channel between R program users, providing
the community with access to events related to the possibilities offered by the R software. (2018)
